Our micro-hydro resource PROTUR has gradually entered and continues to enter the awareness of Czech society in this year 2023 and has been introduced to a number of experts, groups and organizations. Due to its purely Czech origin, capabilities and environmental overlap, it is gaining popularity and support as a decentralised renewable source for clean electricity generation. Thanks to its potential, it is being counted on as part of community energy and as a complement to the energy mix of the Czech Republic. We consider it a great recognition and success for PROTUR that, thanks to this technology, we became a full member of the Community Energy Union in October this year with PROTUR – Precession ROlling TURbine. This allows us to participate in the Union’s working groups and share examples of good practice and communicate over legislative, technological changes and aspects of community energy.
